1099cc anyone?

Perhaps that will happen. It's likely to migrate into the Monster range first ousting the current Testastretta engine in the forthcoming S4R Testastretta and the current S4RS Testastretta models. The Multistrada already has the 1100DS engine in place for 2007, so other models may benefit like the Supersport range, but we won't know the whole of the 2007 line up until November, despite the early release of the new Monsters for next year (695 and the S4R Testastretta)

I'd heard that the Supersport range was being done away with in 2007. Personally I think that's a shame. I'd just like to see it get a redesign (current shape released in 1998, so it's 8 year old now) because the two valve air cooled engines deserve to live on in something other than the Multistrada.

What happened to your leanings towards a Magimixer?

Top stuff! Certainly sounds like the 1098 is for the base and S models, and the 1200 will be reserved for the R. Give it a couple of years, and they'll all have 1200s...

Best bit of news so far is the price IMHO, as if the European market follows suit with the US pricing structure, then you could buy the base model 1098 for less than 10K, the S for just over and the Tri Colore all singing all dancing model for 13K !! That is seriosly cheaper than the current 999 range.
