Tank catch needed

That guy with Benelli(Cowboy) has broken another peice of my bike(after my screen)!!!!
When I thought I was going for a "Billy no mates ride"it turned out we had quite a reasonable crowd.Whilst having a nose around each others bikes,Cowboy calls me over to mine where he`s holding my petrol tank catch in his hand It had snapped off, can`t say it was his fault, but they all said you did it Tim!!
So has anyone got one they don`t want, think they`re the same as a SS
The other idea was to make a new catch out of stainless(Cheers Rooney )then use a rubber type "race look strap"
What do you think guys?

If it is the same as the SS one then JHP can have one out to you the next day.

They do seem to be pretty easy to break - mine flew off while I was washing it and it wasn't even a particularly abrasive sponge.

Mine did that Graham,. Be careful with the replacement as they are not all the same..also, back it off so its quite loose next time..

There only a few quid new so no harm done..

Cheers

Has anyone found a source of the rubber staps for the carbon tanks? I, stupidly, found them in a cat' or website and didn't bookmark them properly. I dont think Ducati can supply them anymore.

Rgds, Rob
