Dont knock Frankie. He's a great racer. Brilliant to see him win. That, and Rossi winning has made my day!

He is da Man, imagine how much faster he would be if the bike was Red!!

WSB has been very unpredictable so far this year.

You could hear the crowd going beserk when Chilli was catchin Laconi. At one time Chilli was 15th!!

Ray.

I'm not knocking anyone, I've always liked Chili. What i'm trying to say is that in how many other motor sport world championship events does a veteran on a 2 yr old machine win races? It's not about Chili it's about the quality of the field in general. He beat the factory boys which is a great achievement but just how good are the factory boys?
WSB used to be equal to Grands Prix racing now it's a very poor second and in dire need of a shake up and some real racing talent.
For the record I didn't rate Hodgson either.

with a 999 engine. what was it he called the bike? 998.5RS

I think it says a lot about the rider yesterday. I don't rate Laconi, and i never will. Toseland, is still young, and learning. I was surprised at some of the performances of some of the riders. But as Emmett proved at Silverstone, the 999 lacks a lot of front end feel, esp in the wet. And Chili has said he can't get around the front end feel on the 999, why he's using the 998RS with the 999RS engine. Respect.
