Cadwell claims another faller.

Sad to say I had a bit of an off on saturday at Cadwell on the virgin run for the 748 I got off of Skidlids.

Bikes a bit bent and the panels are in need of a bin to sit in.

Got Oulton on the 23rd so need to repair it by then if anyone has any cheap panels they want to sell?
Pref yella but not too stressed.

Will be posting in Market Place for bits.

Heck

Hope you are ok. Just sold all my bodywork otherwise you could have borrowed it for oulton.

If you need to get some off Barry then give me a shout if you want it picking up as I can nip down and get it.

Sorry to hear that, Old Yella. How did it happen?

I may know of some panels that will fit your bike but I'll have to check. Will get back to you.

Just spoken to him. They will fit and they are still for sale. And they're yellow (which is why I didn't want them). U2U's not working so if you are interested e-mail me on ruthallistone@hotmail.com and I'll give you his phone number so you can negotiate direct.

He's based down here but friendly with the No Limits lot so could possibly get them up to Cadwell for Easter but if you need them sooner you could maybe check out No Limits website. They may well be at Oulton Park before that. Logistically, over to you.

Cheers peeps.
Have a few feelers out but no replies yet.
I may take you up on that Lily but will try to sort some first from the guys I have asked so far but its good of you to offer.

Lost the front in the left hander at Hall bends on a cold tyre.
Tagged on to a quicker rider, read I was passed and was trying to chase him down, and went in to the left a bit too quick for the condiion of my tyres.
I know what I did wrong and hopefully will learn for the next time out there.
I am OK myself just a bit sore on my shoulders and the base of my back where tumbled a bit but no stress.
Got it back together with magic tape and some new bars, and brackets for the afternoon session but it was that cold I only did one session in the afty then packed up and snivvelled off home.
Just hope the front fairing baracket is Ok as it looks bent? and its not metal?

Hey ho, I aint dead and neithers the bike.

Roll on Oulton

Sorry to hear that Geoff,

Hope you get her sorted and back again ready for Oulton. Will see if I've got my old fairings in one piece that you could borrow. LHS might be okay cos it was the RHS that got mullered at Croft that time.

Yella, you plonker! Ever heard of tyre warmers? Sorry, not really helpful is it? I hope you get it sorted soon.

Geoff I have a complete left side Yellow 748 panel you can have, not that you deserve it after doing that to my old bike. Its the one I had fitted at the DSC trackday at Cadwell last year that later turned up in Pronto due to the various comments on it.
Bradders and Dibble have just been kind enough to donate some Red Panels to me and as Dibble said the other day what goes around comes around.
The only problem is getting it to you, I will obviously be up at Cadwell for the first Desmo Due race but other than that not really planning on heading North before then.
