new tyres needed - Hants

In need of new tyres, thinking either D207rr, D208 or BT010, any opionions welcome.

Also, anybody know reliable ride in ride out in the Hants region? I have heard a couple of horror stories about Micheldever Tyres where I was going to go. Any ideas?

Paul

I went to Micheldever for a new rear tyre just before doing 1700 miles round France & Spain. Never heard of anything bad about them, I'd still go there.

Have used Micheldever on many occasions, always found the service in the bike bay excellent and the prices hard to beat.

Jasper, thanks for the offer, but I am egdging to 207rr. I have looked at mail order but where can you get them fitted?

As for M/dever, it looked quote good when I went there to price up the tyres, and will be going next week to get rubbered up. May be I just needed others to confirm positive experiences.

I have been quoted £175 ride in ride out - can you beat that? I work in Farnborough so you are not far. Will you be doing tyres mobile at Popham? Also, how to 208 compare really with 207 - I mainly ride in the sun but intend to do some touring (!) next year so need somthing ok in the wet.
Cheers

On Wednesday had a new BT010 fitted, okay took tyre in, but i know that Cox's in Eastleigh will do fitted to bike, although not sure about charge.

Paid £100 for a new 010 rear. Was easier to pop in there, as i was on my way home from Christchurch.
