JP - you're right of course - I know I'm not the first, I did get inspiration from yours (but without the flames on the airbox panels!!!!) amoungst others, like this Chilli one (I think);

When it looks this good in black, its bound to be copied.

Any pics of yours?

Tim

I'm probably going to sell the carbon/kevlar panels soon, as I'm planning a change for next year.

If anyone's interested let me know - it'll save on ebay charges!!!

Tim, might be looking for another set of panels but in no rush. The slab sided 998 panels fit OK on a 996 don't they? 99% sure they do.

Yep they do, in fact these are for a 998RS, but were fitted to a 996S before I got them and obviously will fit the 998s too.

I have some track bodywork for my Senna which was painted in Ford Bumper paint (!), which is tough and gives a matt black look. I've then had the original Senna decals stuck on and I have to say it looks ******** cool.

I too have a black 748. Just standard bodywork resprayed but rather lovely if I do say so myself.
Stone chips are a bugger though; it's yellow underneath.

Love black too...with gold decals and a white number board looks good..like my mates 851 here...(which is for sale and will probably be at popham on the DSC stand if anyones interested)

Just remember they are a bitch to clean..I have to get the polish out every time I ride my black S4R - shows all the marks !
