996 Bip rear seat cowl/cover

I am sure that this has been covered many, many times before, but I couldnt find anything in the search.

I really want a single seat unit for my Bip, but dont want to spend the dosh!! I have seen some cowlings/covers on Casoli and Tecmoto's website.

Has anyone got one of these or something similar? I would love to see what they look like on the bike.

Cheers

Lloydy

Send a U2U to Dibble.

He's got a seat cowl fitted that has then been paited as one unit with the rest of the seat with number boards...look v.good indeed, as an alternative to the usual mono seat. I'm sure he will pop along in a mo.

Techmoto do them, along with Ducati Performance (expensive option) and Mike (Rip) whose website I always forget...dibble will be able to tell you again!

They are a good option if you have a bip...the only thing is that they do have a slightly 'bulbous' appearance. Chris Clarke used to do a flat version...so the final seat looked just like the mono version...but it seems the only type you can get now are the ridged type as Dibbles.

Also bear in mind that you can get a fibre-glass mono seat unit from someone like Mike and get him to paint it also for a lot less than you would think. Ask him if you contact him.
