Question Headlight surround paint.

Got the top fairing off and the black paint is flaking away very slightly along the top of the headlight housing.

With the fairing on it is only very slightly noticeable, but you how it is.....a really trivial little thing but you know about it so it bugs you to death........lol

Anyone know what sort of touch up paint I should use? Would it need to be some sort of heat resistant stuff?

I tried some normal black paint but it didn't want to "take" to the glass.

Cheers for any advice.

Jacko.

I used black electrical tape to go around the light lens. Took 10 mins to do, looks good with a nice crisp edge, and it has lasted 2 years so far.

Make sure the glass is clean, and the tape is warm and a little "stretchy".

Nice one Spin! I've got plenty of that tape lying around in the garage.

Cheers for that - will do it tomorrow.

Jacko.
