Smile where can i get brake pad pins???
hi,
Ive removed my brake pads along with the retaining pins and have lost the pins (yes i know I'm a t***). Ive spoken to ducati who have told me that brembo don't do parts but would happily sell me two new calipers for the princely sum of £346.
does anybody know of where i could get replacements or have the measurements so i could search the dealers, any ideas would be great as im fast running out of options.

cheers

I know Tony Brancatto makes stainless pins for various Ducati Calipers, mainly the older models but may do something that fits

Sorry, but that doesn't sound right. Ducati may not sell them, but Brembo do.
Unless of course its because spares for your calipers are no longer available.

I brought a new set of pins and clips for my calipers some time back, as they were starting to notch where the pads sat.
I am not entirely sure where they came from (my local shop got them for me), but they were in a brembo plastic box. Last place they got my parts from was Snells in Alton, so might be worth a call.

These pins are meant to be a service replaceable item like the pads.

are these any good ?

i agree they should be a serviceable part because of the reasons you mention, but ducati Wolverhampton state that "ducati doesn't supply them anymore". I'm still trying to find something on the web but I'm having no luck, i have found some brembo parts but not for the 851.
while I'm waiting for baines to finish their dinner hour ill try snells.

The pins are available seperately. What bikes it for? Have the calipers got a single or a pair of pins?
