People should be very careful with what they write on electronic media sites such at FB.

It’s all too easy for a minority to say things that escalate out of control and lead to situations that are not very pleasant and harm the majority. "Be careful what you wish for" springs to mind. I find it quite astonishing that somebody can say such things - and not even to your face - it’s just puerile.

However, I agree with Bradders, ignore them and carry on; DD will suffer if you resign.

On a more serious note - it would be interesting to know what the current bones of contention are?

Along with the Kevs I've been in DD since the beginning and have seen many people try many things to get an advantage.

I don't think that there have been any sustained advantages gained at the front by anything more sinister than a well setup bike with a good rider on good tyres.

All the fancy ECUs, bang-on-the-weight and power limit and trick fork + brake combos are only anything other than a reflection of the size of the wallet if the rider is not as good as another rider.

Like in many fields I think that there is a tendancy for the green-eyed monster, jealousy, to surface - "if I can't afford "X" then it should be banned"

I think it's called Daily Mail Syndrome.............
