Mood: starting to feel better
Yes I bin'ed a Ducati UK bike- sorry to ducati and all who wanted to ride it after me.

well my thoughts on the M620:
Engine- very good, with lots of drive
Supension - Soft
Ground clearance - not enougth (less than a m600?)
Brakes - bring back the 4 pot stoppers.

anyway the accident:
had the exhaust on the ground (again) as i turned into Gerrards.
knee on the ground trying to keep the thing on it's wheels
ran wide
grass to gravel
over the bars
was knock out & bike landed on me (so I was told)
to Hospital to get head and back checked.
all ok nothing broken

just need a new helmet and leather-since these where cut off
but they need a good job, so that dose matter.
hope to be back on bikes next week.

Thanks to all that helped me
especialy the medical staff at the track, the hosital staff. and the people who sorted the van out for me.

sorry to all for causing delay in track time
and for those who had to watch me go off

aching and a bit sore
the 2005 Mallory muppet
James

Shame about the fallers - three at Gerrards and one at Edwinas. All three at Gerrards just ran out of track going in too quickly, I saw the final one happen. There was one other off, but it involved a No Limits instructor on a CB5 - no not me this time, one of the guys slid the back a bit too much at the hairpin and ran out of grip - picked it up and carried on!

On a lighter note, what a fantastic day. Weather was lovely all day, although there was a moment when it got a bit dark and we thought it might rain. I have an eye infection at the moment and can't wear my lenses, so had my prescription sun glasses on. They fit better under my helmet, so I wore them on the bike under my black visor, so when the dark clouds came over, I could hardly see!

Great to meet Stuart Easton and Paul Smart as well, what a nice man. When he came to sign on later in the morning, I gave him and the MD of DUK a very short brief on what was happening and jokingly asked him if he'd done many trackdays - he either didn't get the joke, didn't think it was worth responding to or thought I was a numpty being serious. I overtook him on the CB5 anyway, so there

Also good fun to mix it with a few DD racers as well, these bikes looks the absolute nuts, can't wait to see a full grid of them at Snet.
