749 6000 service. Do I need it?

My 749 is booked in for it's 6000 service at 5700 miles and is 14 month old so due on both counts but looking at the service book this looks to be just oil and filters. Do I need to spend £450 for just this?

Service is due at 12 Months or 6000 miles, if you want full service history to help sell bike + no warrenty problems then yes you need it, 6000 is. New plugs, Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Change oil, inspect belts, hub and stearing bearings, Valve clearance, cush drive, chain, fans, idling, compression, general lubrication.
Yes expensive at £450 but thats the cost of having a Ducati

Just did mine and had two valves actually out of spec. One was borderline and the other was out of there. That was using the Ducati Factory specs of .10-.25 which I think is looser than some shops use.
