ST4 Lights/Bulbs

Can anyone give me a list of bulb types fitted to my 2004 ST4 ? to save me the job of taking it to bits.

If JohnW is there and sees this, I remember you talking about an imported kit from the US, did you import it yourself or is there a dealer/agent in the UK ?

55W H1 for the high beam and a 55W H3 for the low beam

I don't have the model numbers for the rest but here are the v/w ratings
12v-5w parking light
12v-10w indicators
12v-5/21w tail/brake light
12v-5w reg plate

Cheers moozaad,

I guess if I want to buy a spare set I will need the model numbers for all the bulbs or can you just buy an indicator bulb 12v-10w and get the right fitting ?

there aren't that many different types - I have a suspicion feeling indicator bulbs only really exist in 1 flavour (http://www.consumabulbs.com/files/bdet.php?id=52)

and the brake light
(http://www.consumabulbs.com/files/bdet.php?id=68) or (http://www.consumabulbs.com/files/bdet.php?id=67) - I'm not sure without opening my brake light

Bulbs are pretty generic - use anything that fits with the right volt/wattage ratings

I thought all of the specs are listed in the owners manual. You can also download the tech manual for future reference.

sorry for the delay in responding, If been busy with work & holidays so not been onthe forum much lately.

If you buy any car indicator or stop/tail light bulb it should/will be correct.
Any spare bulb kit will give you the indicator and tail light bulbs. The headlights are the ones you need to check to make sure you get the right ones.

Is yours the later style headlight ?
If so, I'm not sure, but I think it might have dual fillament bulbs (H4 or H7).

The 2003 and earlier style headlight has an H1 and an H3 bulb, one for high and one for low beam, just as Moozaad has posted.

I thought the indicators were more than 10w though - either 15w or 21w, but without going to check I'll bow to better knowledge

Cheers,
John.
