My god they have a piccie of his front tyre when he still riding it last weekend.

Its a bloody great hole!

if you look on www.motogp.com - there is a video there of him . . .

coming in
having his rear tyre changed
a quick shot of the big hole in the front
some frantic recalls/looks - just too late before he goes out again

that could have been nasty!!!

He will be back and world champ again - no doubt - he is by far the best out there.

I think this case highlights a big failing by MotoGP teams with regard to pit stop practice, This would never have got over-looked by an endurance team. look how slick they are at changing both wheels while under pressure.
