749r/999r Bodywork.

Having covered 3.5k on my 749r i am very dissapointed how the bodywork is looking, the lower part of the fairings just behind the front wheel have been completly stripped of its paint which i can live with a little as its directly behind the wheel, but the upper part of the fairings and sideboards plus nose fairng are looking like thay have done 30k. Im not saying that i dont expect any stone chips but i seem to pick up new chips on every ride, having done 3.5k i would truthfully say iv only done about 1k with other riders but i notice chips and digs after iv been out on my own. Im not a moaner but wot the hell is the bike gonna look like after the next 3.5k. Is this normal for carbon painted panels or have anyone else experianced this before. Does anyone think iv got a case to complain to ducati.

I have done about the same milage on my 749R, including several track days and I have not experienced anythink like this. In fact I think that the paintwork is holding up very well. My old R1 was much worse

I think you should be claiming under warranty ..

I could email you some photos of mine as a comparison
