Black trackday fairings - where from?

I've got some red and yellow trackday fairings and was going to get them sprayed up in black but someone mentioned that it 'might' be cheaper just to buy a set which are already black. I've seen some track bikes with the fairings so: how much and where from? BTW, I want the full-race jobbies with no light cutouts and preferably with the full belly pan (although not too fussed about that).

Ta very mooch,

best regards

simon

Bodykit Barry down the road from me, does any colour you like, I've had a set for my 998 when I had it and many others off the board have had them too, his number is 07748 765842, say Jon gave you the number

How much(ish)?

As I don't want to call him now and I'm an impatient kindaguy. What's included and how much? Just ball park figures would keep me interested until tomorrow.

Thanks

Not sure how to add a link to another threadm but have look in the photo section for this, see below) as there are pic's included (only just added today). Try the guys at QB Carbon. Ask for Ian on TELEPHONE >> +44 (0)1949 845172

Just fitted race style fairing and belly pan by QB – 749 / 999

OK, picked a race fairing from QB Carbon on Saturday morning …. What do you think ?

Con’s :
• Cut out for screen did not seem to fit the high lift screen I had so out with the Dremel
• You need the best part of the day to mess around and make it all fit as you’d like it to
• Had to drill 4 holes to finish off the fitting, 2 in the top fairing and 2 in the belly pan

Pro’s :
• The red is a very good match for Ducati red
• The red is impregnated in to the gel coat and the resin, if you scratch it or get a stone chip then it still shows red and not the normal white fibre glass
• Same with the black of the belly pan
• Race style fairing will fit over head light unit with out removing the head light unit
• Once all tweaked and fitted a full fairing and belly pan swap is done in around 15 mins
• Not the normal thin glass fibre stuff that breaks every time you look at it, top quality, very strong and still light

Got the seat unit as well, just not fitted it yet.

Thanks for that. Is that the kit in your avatar? Is it matt, shiny and black throughout (so as not to show up scratches). BTW, who did your number boards - did they come like that or were they just cut out of vinyl?

Thanks again

Simon

By kit is one of Barry's but has since been painted by a mate and its actually metallic black with white number boards, although it was only a cheap paintjob to match the tank as I was getting it painted and I needed numberboards.

The black kit is great though as its impregnated not painted so even if you scratch it its still black!

I know Bob looks good, but the R does look pretty darn good in that picture. We both just commmented on it at the same time and decided the bit that makes it stand out as special is those gorgoues OZ's I knew I should have bought them off you!!
