Very rich bottom end bradders..... 13 parts air to 1 part fuel should be about right for a racebike at one point its down to 10 parts air to 1 part fuel, so very rich

My old 583 had - 58bhp. IIRC

Stage 2 Dynojet kit, middle of the 3 options on needles, open top filter box (no cover), 900ss headers - twin 900SL exhaust.

New I had posted this before: from 2006

"I changed to 146 main jets, left everything else same as 675 Dynojet kit.

Running 900 headers and Hi Level 900SL open pipes.

Works for me...58hp at the crank, nice curves.

Doesn't idle though..."

After our dice at caddy you told me you only had 21BHP, I had such respect for you after that Chris.....

I think the max the CB5's can have is 54, although mine is 49 last few times it's been on a dyno, most are around that level, although my bike has not been serviced apart from oil change in 4 years and is blowing a bit on an old exhaust so probably a bit lower these days, certainly, people who ride it think it's a slow one by comparison to other CB5's.

It would fit nicely in the DD Class B 'Allcomers' race.
