The simple solution is to fit magnesium 5 spokes...they have a series of correctly sized holes that fit the studs on the hub...

mag on the road...too risky for me, have you ridden recently??! UK is full of potholes!!

now if I lived in Germany......(cut to fluffy cloud filled flashback of ring trip with bootiful smooth, empty fast roads...mmmmmmmmm.....)

well, apparently this is quite common according to those that know so no its not a wind up and no I'm not a COMPLETE idiot, just partial one!!

Even heard of tyre fitters getting it wrong and the prongs being sheared off
