I've bought stuff from the guy selling the M/Cyl.

If only he'd told me he had it last week when he brought my seat unit down....

Lol! Thanks for the comments guys - I would have thought that paying the extra 30 quid or so for the Brembo would be the better option, but wasn't sure if it was the same one.

The race version needs a special brake light switch (banjo bolt kinda thing?) which obviously ups the price though.

I didn't think the road version ones were that bad myself, although I guess the "triangles" look of the fluid resevoirs will be in conflict with the "circles" look of the rest of the 748/916-998 bike...

There is a huge improvement going to the "race" brembo m/cyl.

You need a banjo bolt with a brake light sensor in it - but as above, I'd suggest getting the double banjo bolt one that allows two brake lines and a brake light sensor.

Not very Italian-like!!

Just got mine this morning - only confirmed the order at 4pm yesterday - took less than 18 hours to get here from Italy - these guys are GOOD

Guys, the quality of this machined version is on a par with the CNC brembos - there's simply NO comparison to the cheap cast ones; smooth finished surfaces, switch pre-installed, not bad for £155 delivered in under 24hours!!

Thats quicker than most shops here deliver - I know where I'll be buying my **** from now!

Mike and I probably snapped up the last two

I went to www.carpimoto.it in the end - they had them in stock ready for delivery....

If you have a VAT code you just stick it on the order form and you don't pay the tax

Don't have a VAT code, but just cancelled with RED Racing and going to Carpimoto, just confirming they have stock.

Didn't I start something here

DJ has his and I bet mine will arrive to be signed for tomorrow while I am at Silverstone.

DJ I have ordered the HEL lines form the guy on Ebay and will as advised convert to two lines rather than the t piece on the front.

Dumbass that I am I forgot to order a new mounting bracket for the reservoir DOH!
Took ages to saw away the little locating lug, its now bolted on....

I'm thinking of drilling a mounting hole on the top yoke and bolting the reservoir directly onto there, does anyone know whether fitting a smaller reservoir will affect the braking?

Mines ordered and confirmed no, HEL lines ordered directly from HEL (2 front & 1 rear).

Now for pads, and a reservoir bracket
