The most common thing would be a split or popped off fuel line inside the tank.

either
fuel filter - replace AND clean out the tank, condensation/rust/dirt in the tank is why it would be blocked in the first place and will do the same to new one. (most likey)

or

Injectors icing - It would have to be a very cold night - ad some Pro FST to the fuel or use optimax etc.. (pretty unlikely if it runs for a bit then dies)

or

fuel hose come off inside the tank (unlikely if it runs for a bit then dies)

No way of saying for sure but they are the best starting points.

Good luck

But I also mentioned a split line as well. That would allow the possibility of pressure for the start but not the running.

Update, had a chance to look at bike last night and replaced fuel filter and checked all hoses etc. No splits or burst hoses found. Doesnt look like water in tank either.

The drip / drain hose from fuel cap is blocked (and also way too short) but that wont have been problem.

Checked all connections to fuel pump and put it all back in tank and bike started first time and once up to temperature idled / run perfectly.

Ducati character.....cant beat it!!!!!!

Alan...
