Class A Monster for Sale - Race Winner!

Ducati 620 Monster - Desmo Due Class A

I bought this Wee Monster in 2009. Since then I have raced 1 or 2 rounds of the Desmo Due Championships every year... probably equivalent of 1 race season in the last 5 years. I have got 6 podiums and 3 race wins on her :-)

Engine
Dec 2013:
New rings
Valves lapped
New valve seals
Shims checked
New 2-into-1 exhaust
Remus titanium end can
Dyno setup

April 2013
Fork seals

Dec 2012 (MD Racing)
New belts
Re-shimmed
Valves lapped
New Barnett clutch plates
Oil & filters
Sintered brake pads
PowerCommander
Open airbox with PiperCross sock filters

A strong, reliable engine that makes 58bhp on the TTS dyno (March 2013). She kept up with the top bikes down the Brands straight... bhp depends on the dyno ;-)

Chasis
Clip-ons
Quick-Action throttle
Ohlins rear shock with remote pre-load adjuster
Ally swingarm
Oil cooler
Flashed ECU with keyless ignition and neutral light
DD legal tank-stay
Rear-sets
Desmosedici fairing (brand new)
Stomp grips
Keyless fuel-cap.

Tyres have only done 4 laps of qualifying, 8 laps of a dry race and 2 wet races (Brands 2014) - they're mint!

Bad bits: dented tank (no fuel leaks from this).

Spares Box: Sprockets (2 rear, 1 front), throttle, cams for Quick Action throttle, gas cap/ignition/seat lock/transponder pickup for key + key, belt covers, rings, valve seals, o rings for heads, rear sets, footpeg, lever and pushrods, crash bungs for side and front spindle and other bits n bobs.

I am getting married and moving abroad in the autumn, have another expensive race project and don't use the bike often enough to warrant keeping her. Sad to see her go as it is the best handling, most successful and fun race bike I have ever had :-( (I have only ever got 1 other podium in road-racing). She is super-reliable and gives the cheapest, most fun road racing you'll ever get.

£2600
