Just to put something in the melting pot, and just to be a devil, how about Knockhill. 5 miles from mine, about 500 for the nearest of you!!!!!!

Craig,
Make sure it's a water proof one!!!!!

To be fair the last couple of years as been lucky, the only weekends where it stopped raining were when the meetings were on.

Food for thought for the future, or enter the MiniTwins race there, plan to try a few this year instead of the 400

Must be why Hizzy and the old Trout weren't enjoying themselves on the Cadburys Boost bikes while testing back in March 1998.
Nah they were enjoying it, probably first time on the bikes in months

Give me Thruxton any day
Trouble is Thruxton was only once a year and Mallory 3 times plus a few Wednesday afternoons

Popped over to the New Era site yesterday and noticed that they are now showing the calendar as confirmed.

Does this mean ours will be out shortly?

Mark

I had my new Era membership card through yesterday which just like my previous 12 have the race dates on them,
I cant recall over those 12 seasons the actual race dated ever differing from what was on the cards.

As such I should think the majority of the Desmo Due dates can now be confirmed although a round to replace the loss of Angelsey is still being considered.

Be lovely to have a race less than 3hrs drive away, is there no-other dates available for Angelsea we could do?
Why did it get pulled?

It's not the size of the dog in the fight that matters, but the size of the fight in the dog.

Angelsey, Cadwell, Oulton, Snetterton & Pembrey are all over 3hrs and Donington was just under 3hrs for me.

As for why Angelsey got pulled thats a question for the New Era officials
