Question alarm/immobiliser

what type of security have people fitted? and has it caused any problems. do you need an alarm/immobiliser or just an alarm as the bike has its own immobiliser?

I'd go for something like the Datatool system4 2-1 upgrade. This upgrades the existing immobiliser to a Cat 1 standard, ie it offers audible and visual alarms.
With most new bikes being OE fitted with some sort of immobiliser these are becoming very popular and it means that you're not messing with the already protected systems on the bike, or making additional cuts into the wiring.
