very very stupid question time!

right then........demsodue.......what does it mean?

i know the desmo bit, but whats the due all about? 2 cylinders.

and apologies in advance for my stupidity

I think it refers to valves per cylinder. The 916 series used to have the word desmoquattro on some years.

Definitely refers to two valves per cylinder. My 750 Sport has "Desmodue" decals - I reckon it should be allowed to enter the DSC Desmodue race series!

If we are going to play that game I know where there is a nice TT2 I could borrow-it's a 2 valve 600cc Ducati so should be allowed-someone called Fogarty used to ride it.............

yeah but know one will notice if we put SSie fairings on them or 600 stickers on the 900
