Pembrey Gearing

Never been before so anyone know a good starting point for gearing? I know we've all got different gearboxes but in comparison to brands for example?

I'm gonna start with whats on,,, Brands gearing, But if I remember right I found the longest left hander in the country a bit long in 1 gear and kept hitting the rev limiter, so I might try taller gearing. have to be after qualifying though,, (no practice)

I'm still on Pembrey gearing, stuck with it at Brands but as the weather at Brands didn't play ball I'm not sure how well it would have worked there.
But for the past 15 years I have always used the same gearing at Brands as Pembrey no matter what bike I was racing

I look at a circuit and usually try to decide which corners are the most important, at Pembrey I think this would be the hairpin leading on to the back straight, I'd use the best gearing I can for exiting this corner the fastest, providing it doesn't completely ruin the rest of the circuit.

in my Awesome experience, I usually can't be bothered to change anything and say I'll remember for next time, then I forget..... doh!
