Magnesium paint codes

Anyone know the paint code for the stuff they paint the 9 series bits with? Pretty certain it's not bare magnesium.

It's not paint if you are talking about yokes, swinging arm, etc. It's a special coating called chromate conversion. Do a search for it here. It's come up before.

If you're talking about engine covers, then the paint would have been applied after the coating.

Thats what I'm talking about Felix...........

Magnesium is very keen to return to it's natural state, and I need to "spray a bit about" as they say in the trade!

PS: I not forgotten the pix
