Ducati UK and Moto Icons present the 2010 Apparel Collection

PRESS RELEASE

Ducati UK and Moto Icons present the 2010 Apparel Collection

The 2009 NEC Motorcycle show sees the launch of Ducati’s innovative new 2010 clothing range.

Ducati fans and Motorcycle enthusiasts can expect to see the new revamped retro designs and race inspired styling of the new Ducati Corse range, complete with its re-designed ‘Carbon Fibre’ logo.

Official Ducati merchandise Dealer – Moto Icons will be retailing the latest range of Ducati clothing at the show, some of the highlights on display and for sale will be:

80’s collection - One of Ducati’s well established and most popular ranges which has been refreshed and redesigned for 2010.

• Featuring the historical logo designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro in 1977, which was used on the racing bikes in the 1970s and ‘80s, this distinguished line combines a subtle Sports feel with sleek retro undertones seen in the selection of riding jackets and casual apparel.

The LEGEND range - a new addition to the casual range for 2010, this classically themed line celebrates some of Ducati’s many iconic logos – Eagle and Meccanica. You will see great quality t-shirts, warm sweatshirts and butter soft casual leather jacket.

• No Ducati display would be complete without our popular Ducati Corse range packed full of t-shirts, polo’s, hoodies and fleeces. With a re-vamped logo design finished in real Carbon Fibre – the Ducati Corse collection remains the epicentre of Ducati style.

Moto Icons will be sharing the stand with Ducati UK who will have on display the eagerly awaited Multistrada 1200 and the new Hypermotard 796.

The Multistrada has become the focus of media attention since its recent unveiling and has taken the public by storm with its innovative technology. The Multistrada’s characteristics can be changed by the touch of a button to different riding modes: Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro. Power and torque delivery, suspension settings and traction control can be changed even while riding. The Multistrada comes in four different variants: Standard, Standard with ABS and ‘S’ in Sport or Touring.

The Hypermotard 796 joins the Multistrada at the NEC. The 796 is as aggressively striking as the 1100, but with a lower seat height, flexible 81hp engine and an overall weight of 167kg, the new 796 fuses aggression with mild manners.

Ducati UK and Moto Icons can be found at the NEC bike show: Hall 1, Stand 1C70 from 27th November to 6th December.
