| A Serious Sight For Sore Eyes....At last !!! Those of you that were at the DSC Track Day at Cadwell on May 7th 2004 will no all about my troubles.. Well after nearly 12 months to the day, my 748R motor was returned back to me this evening almost ready to be put back in the rails. Have to say I'm pretty bluddy chuffed...Thought I may not ever see it again  Basic rundown of the resulting work is as follows: Ducati Corse crank and pistons - from a certain World Champ's bike Ducati Corse Pankl rods - from another certain World Champ's bike Unspecified head work Cams properly dialled in Corse factory primary gear and water pump with oversized impeller Clutch - TBA but looking damn exciting too (once a certain person's finished with it) Displacement is now 777cc due to bigger throw on the crank Vs OEM item (2mm head gaskets made to order). This little beauty should be a different engine entirely to what I last rode...can't wait  Have to say a big thank you to Stewart and Guy at NME - stars the pair of 'em. | Guy,is that the 06 chassis she sits in ?,looks like it'll be a bumpy ride m8 !,bet she corners like a shopping trolly,get it to k-tech !  |
