One previous post on the board that you may or may not have picked up on is that the rear shock comes with virtually zero preload as standard and the bike feels a lot better with more preload and a bit of suspension set up, although admittedly you're rather sylph like in comparison to my stella belly physique

Yep the "standard" preload setting is the minimum!Yet it says standard half way up the adjuster! Some folks,me included,seam to find that standard (as marked) plus two clicks is a good start for the preload.As for the damping,Ive set mine one full turn out from max hard. Works for me!

Hey Paul, yep done quite a few miles on the Multistrada loan bikes now and they are greeeeeeeeaaaaat fun. Looking forward to it. Bout time you lot up thar came daaaan ere for a blast. You can ave a ride on me MS when I get it.
