Going to school...CSS
I had to do it.... Lots of people have said it's worth it, so I've booked CSS level1. Let's hope they can teach an old dog some new tricks!

Nice one - just go in open minded and you'll learn loads.

I reckon you'll have booked up level 2 before you leave there though!!!

Thanks all - I'm going to hide the wallet for a while afterwards. Dickie, It's at Silverstone on 18th May (not the full circuit though). It suits me, as I can combine it with staying a couple of days at friends nearby.

You certainly seem to get a full day's worth, as it starts at 7 am.

Sign on might be, but you won't be out on the track until 9am at the earliest.

The CSS are very thorough and need to time to check your bike over and your kit before they let you out on the track.

As stated, there's always food and drink available and salt tablets if required etc...

You'll have a great day for sure.

Gosh I'd like to do this, especially at Silverstone (just up the road)......

Is it really worth it ? Levels 1 and 2 will be 600 quid plus two days off work (contracting, so no work = no pay) another 700 quid, is the whole thing worth 1300 quid ?

Tempted but not sure.....

Might see you Brent, might not ! anyway good luck

I agree - it's worth every penny if you are keen on improving your skills and like to veture out on track every now and then.

I came away more confident and smoother than I went in, and therefore faster and safer at the same time...plus it's blooming good fun as well!
