You want cheap racing,.....here it is!

Yeah,I know I bang on about this every year, but the Mablethorpe sand racing season has started. It makes an excellent venue for a winter rideout. Its free to watch and all the shops and arcades are open. The racing is great fun to watch, from the scarey full on grass/sand race 500's to the road bike class!Oh yes,you want a Yammie RD400 with knobbly tyres and MX bars? You got it!Not scarey enough? What about a Triumph Speed Triple with the same set up!?!
Confirmed dates for this year are:
17th Oct(missed that one then!)
31st Oct
14th Nov
28th Nov
12th Dec
26th Dec
I'm gonna try and get over there at least twice this season.A good ride for me over the Wolds.Maybe see ya there?!

Yep the MultiStrada should do well against the RD400 and the Speed Tripple

Kev,that Speed Triple is the fastest thing down the straights but it cant get around the corners!
The full on grass/sand bikes are really fast. There is a lot of speedway riders and grassers that use Mablethorpe for winter practice.Neil Tuxworth dominates the road bike class on a very trick XR Honda. The bike looks very similar to an American flat tracker.Hmm,and I bet there are'nt many HRC bits in there either!
Well worth a look.

Oh yes, I'm up for a bit of that. Let me know when your going. I've got a couple of business trips in early to mid November. But after that will be great.

The early indications are next weekend (31st) might be good.Wheelspin and RedSeb have pencilled themselves in.

I can confirm that I Have indicated a slight possibility of attending next weekends thrash. If the bridge is still closed at Sutton then I may as well go via P'boro. May have to stop in and see my Gran at M'thorpe- i've warned her about Glyn.
