Petrol leak from bottom of tank

After gioing for a long run out last week, my 748 has had a strong smell of petrol coming from it.

I stripped the fuel tank off and found that fuel was leaking out from under the tank. On closer inspection I found that the plastic nut holding the electrical connector for the pump is split.

Anyone else ever had this. I presume I will have to buy the complete unit and drain the tank to replace it.

Anyone got any idea's.

Thanks

try not to take the petrol pump out as it is a pain to get back in. if you do however then ensure that you get a new o ring as the chances are it will stretch if you do so. Not seen that before, to be honest.
