Front Sprocket

Does anybody know if the spline in the front sprocket is the same size as other Ducati's as I am using the rear sprocket from a 999 on the back wheel of my Monster but the chain is a different size so I thought it would be easier just to change the front sprocket to match the 999 rear. any help appretiated.

I wouldn't have thought that changing the front sprocket would help you out. It's the distance between the centres of the front and rear sproks that matter.
