My tyres for trackday

I've got a set of Pirelli Diablo Corsa's on my 748. I've done 1 Brands Hatch track day in them, and about 1000 odd road miles. They don't appear to be very squared off and there's loads of tread left. When road riding I do not notice the bike suddenly fall in to corners, so I presume it's not too squared off.

My question is - should I replace them for my track day this Friday at Brands? I'm quite reluctant cos I could do without spending the thick end of £200.

Thanks all,

Ade.

ps. I'm certainly no riding god, so I'm in the novice group - if that alters your opinion.

Hard to say without seeing the tyres, but they sound OK to me. All depends on how you ride, and how the bike is set-up, my old 998 was set-up pretty well and I could get 3 track days out of some 208's and god knows how many road miles
