Headache!! Wont rev over 6k!!! need your help


Looks like i have a gremlin

Flying past Le Mans at full pelt enjoying the sunshine and the scenary next minute im in first gear doing 20mph and from then on i spent 400 miles with an intermittent problem.

When i have bike on its main stand it will rev no problem upto 11k
when im riding it it wont go over 6 7k if im very lucky ????/

Then i thought must be breather in filler cap checked all that and it appears ok so just been out for a blast and its doing the same

Im peaved and not mechanicaly minded can some one put me right etc

Fuel filter, RPM sensor, throttle sensor and maybe a few more spring to mind Martin.
If you ain't too good with the spanners though it'd be kinda tough to talk you thru' checking them.
Don't know how far North you are, but I'd be happy to take a look at it for you. I'm just off J28 M1

Thanks Nelly im heading off to ducati leeds this morning, see if i can persuade them to sort it prior to earliest they have booked it in 28th june, otherwise i`ll ring you to take you up on your kind offer

Hi Nelly im in north yorks just above Ripon

but lik all fellow enthusiats i dont like to be told to wait 6 weeks before they can care to look at my bike.
i would really appreciate it if you can sort i have emailed my home number to you 2 mins ago

Wow 11k revs!!!

Just a note to everyone to thank Neil at corner speed for his help and 1hr later my bike is fireing on full power simple fuel filter and im back in business,




Just a note for everyone Neil is a couple of minutes from jct28 of the M1 and anyone wanting a first class service with customer focus at very reasonable rates should give a fellow member there support!!!
Neil started out on his own 8 weeks ago I will certainly be returning once my warranty is up
