andy, sorry to go off thread, but while you're here whatever happened to the 'race' days to did i think you only did the one. would have been of great interest to me and possibly many of the desmodue racers for this year.

Just looked at the US CSS site, just under $1200 for 2 days with their 636 bike, so probably about £700, but you still need flights, transport from SF to Monterey (roughly 2 hours) and accomodation, food etc.

Hi Dickie,

Same problem, cost. I could run one at Darley Moor but not any where else in the UK, even Spain for that matter. It would be about £700 and need 14 riders to work.

now for me that would make more sense and to be fair i wouldnt be surprised if you got a few people from here for it. dave cook highly recommended it. could something like that be run further south? it seems most of the people for instance in the desmo series and more southerly biased?
i know as you say the cost is the problem but places like snetterton not any good.?

Darley Moor is norf
www.darleymoor.co.uk

2 Miles South Of Ashbourne...

The Darley Moor race circuit is situated on the A515 Ashbourne to Lichfield road, approximately 2 miles south of Ashbourne. Travelling from the picturesque Derbyshire town of Ashbourne, the circuit entrance is on the left just before the turning to Snelston. Approaching Darley Moor from the south, the entrance is on the right 150 metres after the right turn to Yeavley.

Andy,

That's similar money for what I'm paying for the 2 day camp in Almeria, which I would MUCH prefer.

I can't see the financial viability for that sort of money in one day for me.
