Help me decide what to race on a budget..

Right think my mind is made up. I'm going to finish this season off with DD, but then have to move to thundersport gb

I've been given the oppurtunity to race for the ARMY road race team and thats who they are racing with. I am really enjoying the racing in DD but moving to thundersport will will make things a whole lot cheaper for me. I will also get the oppurtunity to go do some proper road racing @olivers mount

I just dont know what to race. I want to stay on a ducati. So my options are.
1. buy a 748/996/998 and race in the golden era, and possibly come do some 1C racing too, oh and I could do 600's too. What you think of this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2001-DUCAT...item19d21c410b
pretty trick

2. buy a 800ss put loads of money into it and race in supertwins, or something mad like this http://corseperformance.co.uk/projec...tage?showall=1
3. Turn my 848 into race bike, but they dont really fit in anywhere.
4. buy an s4 monster and race prep it and race supertwins

Well what ever I do I dont have loads of money, and they DD bike will be getting sold at end of season to pay for trick parts for new bike.

Im liking the Class Description:-
Supertwin (650) is a class for 650cc water-cooled & 820cc air-cooled production based 4-stroke machines. Tuning is permitted and suspension is free, so it gives more scope to build a more race oriented machine than the very strict Minitwin rules.
Anyone else raced a Ducati in mini twins ?

Yes I've got Nigel Wrights 800ss it puts out 71 brake and 50 torques. I know Nigel had one on the road which was mild tuned at 80 plus brake and with a few grand I think it'll make 90 plus. Nigel won NGRCC mini twins champ 2007 and was leading in 2008 before retiring so they are capable. But for super twins then maybe start with a 796. Alan off here Bally has one too he raced with Wirral.
