748 Intermittent non-starter ??

Hi all, unfortunately I had to store my 748 in a damp garage & due to time constraints I wasn't able to fire her up every week.
On my last attempt to start her in the garage I got the familiar "click click" of the
solenoid but my friend said "go on, give it another go"
Needless to say it didn't start.
I removed battery, charged it & replaced it.
I then got all electrics except the starter.
Quick check of all fuses above battery, all good.
Puzzled I left bike. Returned day after & she started
Got her home & in my front room
Tried to fire her up day after, dead again ??
I understand there are fuses under the seat?
Any help gratefully received, Cheers, John
PS had no trouble before I put bike in storage.
Also When she won't start I can't hear fuel pump whirring.

Try cleaning/drying the plug connections on the relays down by the clutch. Also check the little white plug which goes into the back of the starter solenoid (on the right side of the battery carrier).

The yellow relay is always a problem but quite cheap to replace. Depending on model the other one or two smaller black ones are injection and fan relays.

Could even be the starter button.

This is the Main Ignition Relay, brought in when the key is turned on, I have found replacements available in the Local Maplins Shop, although the maplin ones are Black and NOT Yellow

Many thanks to everyone, I believe problem is dirty contacts in either kill switch
or ignition switch,I kept putting the kill switch on & off & now she fires up every time so I'm a v happy man (not sure about my neighbour tho )
I have another small problem in that it is not very clear whether I should have a sidestand swich or not, the owners manual & wiring diagram within is v confusing! I'm off to write another help thread & fiddle with my suspension adjusters (oooh er mrs ) Cheers, John

Early models didn't have the sidestand switch where as later models did, the later models had a bigger sidestand cut out in the fairing to accommodate the switch

Many thanks, Mine is a 2002 model so I presume should have one but doesn't, also the bolt arrangement holding the side stand looks distinctly non-factory Will double check wiring as I know it had an alarm fitted & this has been removed before I bought it from my friend!
Thanks everyone, John
