Troy Corser rolling out the excuses already - oh dear

"There were possibly a combination of things that prevented me from taking a front row grid place today," explained the #1. "We used a soft front we hadn't tried before because I wasn't happy with the feeling of the harder ones."

"The track was a bit dirty off the main race line and so I couldn't use my natural lines - the ones I used in the December tests here. Instead I had to follow everybody else's lines and that probably cost me a bit of time."

"Finally, I am five kilos lighter now than December and that may mean that we have to change the bike settings a little bit. The soft front gave me a better feel, but I don't think we could use it for the race because it wouldn't last."

Riiiiiiight Nothing to do with the other guys riding faster then?

Hey, I just had a thought. I should be his new excuse writer. I think I'd be busy this year, and I'm brilliant at coming up with excuses.

I better email him quick
