Swimming front disks

What are the advantages of swimming front disks and the difference between alloy and steel, apart from weight.

Doctor said my discs would benefit from swimming, feels much better now, not sure about floaters in the pool though?

Alloy brakes ?? I hope your not using such things. Choices are normally between Steel and Iron and either fully floating, semi floating or solid. Iron discs offer better friction/stopping power and the fully floating variety are less prone to warpage.

No,not really.Unless you get significantely lighter discs than the originals and then the bike will turn easier.
