camcoat - ceramic exhaust coating

Hi guys,

I want to send my headers to camcoat but I haven't decided yet what ceramic colour to ask for...

I'm between the satin black and "cermakrome" (polished). These are the only examples I've found on their website:

and

Oh! This is my bike:

Any advice or pictures with the above coatings from camcoat??

Thanks!!

Get the "standard" black coating 'inside' the pipes and headers and the "Cerakrome" polished on the outside.

The inside coating helps the gas flow and reduces heat build up in the exhaust system.

It's all there on their website and if you get both done at the same time I think it works out a fair bit cheaper.

Very interesting but the price list is dated 2002!

Since the view of your headers is restricted by the fairing I also suggest going with the Matt Black option.

The range of Gloss colours is interesting mind

I already spoke to them today and they quoted me 85+VAT for inside out...

Better price compared to Zircotec's 230+VAT (they use different technology though, but still....)

with that swingarm, the modern look of the bike along with the latest in radial calipers and wavey discs I'd have to go with the cermakrome, the black would just be out of place unless you powder coat the frame and swingarm black and swap to a yellow body kit

So Zircotec is 3 times the price, but which one uses the better/more efficient technology that provides the biggest performance increase? I'm genuinely asking as I'm ignorant about this technology, but curious.

If you said Zircotec would give 10 percent performance improvement, whereas Camcoat's website only says 5 percent, well £230 + VAT, in the bigger scheme of how much I'm spending on my bike at the moment, is not that big a deal!
