Description doesnt do it much justice mind. Think if I were geting rid of 2 bikes like that I'd be making a bit more of an effort with the sales pitch !!

I know what you mean Nat. I e-mailed a guy yesterday asking for better pictures of his "practically showroom condition" Kawasaki (he'd used mobile phone type pics in his ad.) and his return e-mail said "those are all I have".

Now, if I could see his bike in detail (and it matched his 'brief' description) I'd probably buy it - despite having nowhere to put it! But if a seller won't make any effort, then why should a buyer? Makes me mad.

Contrast this with the web-site ad. I'd placed when selling my Strada. Took me bl**dy ages to do!

(..oh well, anyone living in Rugby want to view a bike for me..?? And send me some 'good' pictures? Pretty please..!!)

Put your request up for someone to view the bike for you in it's own posting since unless they are 888 fans people are not likely to see this.Alternatively drop a PM to Mav-he lives Coventry way so is quite close and since fixing bikes is his business he would be able to give you an accurate report.

I live 6 miles from Rugby. I am no expert but I can use a camera.

Or you could come down to the NEC show and drop by to see it yourself. Kill two birds with one stone.

Cheers guys

Monty - I was hoping to get some decent photos from the seller before posting the above request to 'all and sundry'. 'Twas just that Nat's post seemed to touch on the same subject.

Herb - I'll send you a PM. Thanks.
