Thank You

Wow, what a weekend! A huge "thank you" to everyone for making Samantha and myself so welcome at my first race. I've learned so much in the 2 days days at Brands, not least of all to check chain tension as the guys on the Dyno will testify! Thank you Chris for the wheel alignment masterclass!
Clearly much room for improvement (my lap times might have been acceptable if it had been wet !) but at least all still in one piece and 4 seconds quicker than my first practice session. Sorry to Paul for freaking out at Graham Hill when Phil scared the life out of me up the inside ! At least i'm well used to being overtaken now! Looking forward to Mallory.

You were in at the deep end really, but you rode well and was predictable in corners when faster guys were passing, which is a real must.

Brands for the DD paddock wasn't so good as we were all split up, Mallory will be much better, hope to meet you then.

Gary I can't recall a time when you didn't have a big smile across your face, no matter what the day threw at you, you looked as you were enjoying the event

Appreciate the encouraging comments guys - Frankly I was shocked at how quick you all are! I do need more track time, but as long as i'm learning and not dangerous on track, then that's ok with me.

Welcome to the fold matey, the results will come.

Just enjoy and it'll all be worthwhile!

Gary, your no different than i was same time last year, it takes a few races to get into the stride of things, you held good lines and it was easy to pass you safely, the speed will come with practice and trusting the bike and your ability to push it. the main thing is to relax have fun and enjoy yourself.
