Mood: R U thinking what I'm thinking?......Oh dear!
Been back on the dyno. 131 at the wheel this time (in slightly worse atmospheric conditions) and much better fueling. nearer to the ideal across the rev range.

The throttle response is a lot sharper.

The undertank between the air intake intakes filter has been removed and in tube pipercross filters fitted.

More to come with the cams dialled in and the squish set but thats gonna cost more than the price of the filters! Maybe this autumn

Sounds interesting, I`m thinking of having a Power Commander fitted to the 998s and a proper set up done.

Interesting figures. My 996R did 119.7bhp @ 10,000rpm and 67.7ftlbs @ 8000rpm with 900 miles. That's with completely standard pipes and filters. Very smooth curves.

The 998S FE did 130bhp and 75ftlbs with 50mm termis and JHP filter.

Ray, i think you have around 15bhp missing that a pc111 will find with the right set up.

Thats a lovely looking 996R Henners, I think you should get an Aprilia RSV R to add to your collection
