851 upgrade info required.

I have fitted over the last few days a genuine corsa exhaust system 50mm right through, with the nest of vipers section to my 91 851 .
two probs have come to light.
1) the carbon silecers use 2 mounting points. The first is the normal postion, via a strap and fixed with carbon brackets to the subframe below seat pad area.
the 2nd is by a bracket which attaches to the end of the silecer on a welded lug.
Now I have the carbon brackets for that aswell, but they are nothing like what will fit or even might fit, wrong angles etc.

has anyone got pics or indepth diagrams on the correct brackets or suitable design for a strada application. I don't really want to have to change to an sp subframe just yet, maybe when I've got hold of an sp2/3 seat unit.

2)
fitted a jhp prom that was matched to the pipes, but it won't work. I have been assured that the chip is fine though.
Problem being that when fitted, the fuel pump will not activate. All I get is a single click from the relay.
lob the original chip back in and all is working again.
any thoughts peeps

On a final point, obtained a carbon racing fuel filler cap and ally flange.
But since its racing there is no vent option to connect my exisiting breather pipe to, or the drain pipe.
Becuase it an early ally tank , there is no breather at the front top section as in the 92 onward bikes with the newer steel tanks.
any help there would be handy.

1.I've just had a flick through a few books and the early racing 851/888's had the rear exhaust hanger fitted to the rear subframe via some sort of "P" clip.Remember there is no rear mudguard/indicators/light unit to get in the way.The later bikes have a bracket bolted on where the rear mudguard and indicators should be.
2.Duff chip?
3.All the Corse bikes appear to have a tank vent in the same place as the later road versions.I guess a vent could be fitted to the tank, fancy getting the Black and Decker out!? I guess a firm that specialises in racing bikes/parts should be able to help.

thanks for the info keefyB, I have just been trawling through some books too.
I Have found a pic of an identical corsa system fitted to a FBF 888 race bike.
uses the exact same rear brackets that I'm trying to sort out on my bike.
pic is on page 227 of the Ducati offical racing history book.
Looks like the rear mudguard and indicators are going to have to be dumped on my bike to accomadate same fixing point.

cheers
