Water coolant

Hi
Me again
I am curious about how you know the right coolant level, and how if I need to fill it up do I go about it. I am asking alot as before I just sent the bike to the shop to get anything done but now I am in Sweden and it costs so much , also I think it is fun now to learn as much and do as much as I can BUT I NEED ALOT OF HELP.
Thanks:

Rick,

If you look at the front of than on clutch lever side you will see a white bottle near the headstock under the ignition key, thats water \ coolant bottle, on the side of the bottle are minimum and maximum markers for the levels.

The lid is on the top but a bit obscured by the tank and if it hasnt been opened for a while you may need to lift the tank out of the way to get a proper grip ...

If I can do it .. anyone can ...

Hope that helps mate ...

I was going to ask a similar question.. do you check the level in the coolant reservoir when the bike is on its side stand and therefore leant over in the direction of the min/max levels on the side of the reservoir, or when the bike is off the stand and vertical?

cheers,
Ben
