I use longer bars at £22 a pair, by the time I sell the standard ones on they cost me next to nothing

I wound the lock stops out so that the bars locked out before the m/c hit the clocks. My logic being, that even though i had reduced my steering lock with the stops, the end result is the same when they hit the clocks!!Also, gained a bit extra by dropping the leaver slightly.

Where to find the longer bars? My throttle grip is an inch further out than the bar-end plug after fitting a PI radial master cylinder.

got a Mate that makes replacement ones for Harris Clip-ons, i get hold of a pair before he puts the locating groove in as its in a different place on the Harris ones, then I have to taper the end slightly and add the groove in the right place to suit the standard Ducati clamps.

The method I used to lengthen the standard bars was to remove the original plastic end plugs and machine up some new longer ones in ally. which I then loctited in place.
Simple if you've got access to a machine shop, or a mate that does.

I have the same problem with clutch and brake radial m/cyls. Eventually went for Harris bars which I actually find more comfortable.
