Mood: R U thinking what I'm thinking?......Oh dear!
Considering the new dunlop 209s, the blurb says they warm up that quick you don't need tyre warmers, they are getting rave reviews.

Ray.

Mood: Flange - it's a state of mind....
Used Dunlop GP Racers at Portimao and they were superb

They were on an R6 with a 190 55 rear

Tried it on the pirelli Sc's with a 180 55

and it felt better on the dunlops but I think it had a lot to do with the 190 55 rear - felt amazing to be honest - turned & steered so well..........:-)

I wany a 190 55 on my 998S trackbike now but I've been told they don't fit....:-(

I know we've been here before..(sorry)...but is there a SAFE way to use them without a new swing arm...

Ta

as mentioned, i used to run a 190 on the 998 and it was fine. Biggest issue is to get a heat guard to protect tyre warmer form the pipes as it pushes it very close and will melt it if you put them on as soon as you come in.
