Bayliss to motogp?

what a legend on sunday!!....i thought he'd be in the top 5 and he only went and won it!
probably won't change anything but it shows how good he can be on the developed bike.
dead chuffed for Niky Hayden as well, was desperate for him to win it

"Thanks to everybody because this will be my last ride in MotoGP, I've had some great times but I'm really comfortable where I am and this is probably best left to the young guys." Troy Bayliss.

He'd also signed the deal to stay with Ducati WSB for 2007 before the MotoGP race:

Shame he won't be back. Fantastic ending for him, Ducati and Caparossi. But I think he has done the right thing. If on 800s it all went pear shaped for him, what then? Hang up hat and go home, prbably. This way we get to see him race (and hopefully win) for another 2 years!
