Get yourself a fairly good bench grinder and spindle adaptor to take the mops.
Gets a git messy but worth the effort. Dremel type thing for the small fiddly bits.

Frank,

I do a fair bit of polishing and to be honest unless you get yourself something like a bench mounted polisher you will be wasting your time really. Something like this is what I use, it will run decent diameter mops so won't keep stalling like the drill mounted types. Looks like it comes with the mops, polish etc. and I'd bet it won't get much bidding at this time of year.

If you can get a floor mounted one. Its so much better for doing exhausts etc as the bench don't get in the way.

Hello Iconic944ss

I bought one of these fellas and took the grinder off one end
you can pick up the buffer/wheel at auto shows etc quite cheap
as I think they are about £8 a pop.

Its ok for small stuff and have done part of my pipes.

just make sure its mounted good and sound

Oh the link.
